Very nice restaurant. I ordered pizza and was some of the best pizza I have ever had. There is always spaghetti and lasagna. Lot of food and very nice. Would recommend
Great customer service and experience. Love the food and atmosphere.
I’ve been here a couple of weeks ago, we got 2 veal dishes that were coming with roast potatoes and veggies. The veal was suuuper tough, very hard to chew, sauce used was just a basic tomato sauce. The potatoes felt very old, as if they were just reheated. The dish overall was below average. Quite disappointed and probably won’t return.
Love this restaurant, service is always impeccable and the food delicious
Greatfood
Been a regular for years, tasty cheesy pizza's and pasta as well. Service is good and well priced.
Great food and BYO option.
Ordered scallopini. Food is average, edible but vegetables and potatoes were old. Potatoes were roasted but soggy. Probably reheated. Veal was pretty dry and tough.
The seafood is incredible here. Mussels are to die for! Friendly and attentive service from the waiters. My favourite waiter is Ahmad, such a lovely and handsome young man.
Food average good service
My pasta was little bit overcooked but still good Pizza was fantastic!
Nice food and quick service ..
IN ONE WORD.....BRIlliant.....this surprising little place in Crows Nest was excellent....the veal dish was the best I have had...large portions so 1 dish serves 2 (if you are not a big eater) same with the delicious garlic bread, thick crusty and Hot......The sweets are to die for....Tirimasu....but very generous servings.....price very reasonable....I will go back soon...jeni nicholls
Great authentic Italian restaurant Staff were nice and friendly and food was tasty. I would have liked the Lasagna portion a bit larger but all in all it was a good experience. Spaghetti bolognese and supreme Pizza were delicious. Both in door and outdoor sitting available.
The food was great, the service was great, the ambience was great. We had a great night!
It's a good place to have a supper , at this hot weather , sitting outside and eating is the best feeling you can have.
Restricted portions and a bit basic
Beautiful, authentic Italian food.
Good food Good service
Fantastic food, coffee and atmosphere
Yummy Italian - love their pasta and they are really reasonably priced
The food was a reminder of home , the staff add to the Italian experience. You can also get nice Italian wine
Everything was good.
The food was amazing!!! However the service staff (male writer) was rude otherwise I would rate this place 5 star
Cosy atmosphere delicious Italian food friendly staff & value for money deserve more than 5 stars let's all go eat !!!
Delicious food & great atmosphere will definitely be back again soon
Love the Pizzas here and the friendly staff, always a pleasure weather its a take away or dine in.
Ordered takeaway 2 x spaghetti marinara - the pasta was way over cooked, the seafood was not fresh and there was no flavour. Cost was $45 for two mains. Very disappointed.
The base was dry like a frozen McCain’s pizza. Very dry not very enjoyable unfortunately!
love this place. has a nice pizza and pasta
Very bad food and service
I would never go back in this restaurant because of one of the waiter who has a way of speaking very respectful with strange attitude. Food wasn’t so bad but prices to high for what it is.
Food was nice, casual/informal dining, the pastas are their obvious specialty.
Classic Crows Nest Italian Restaurant, great fast friendly service (For 2pm on a Saturday) a great Spaghetti Con Polpette - Home made meatballs served in a Napolitana Sauce & Fettuccine Al Gamberi - Tiger Prawns in a light Napolitana sauce with garlic & Chilli. topped with Baby Spinach were had along with a awesome starter of Bruschetta - would recommend and I would dine again !!!
Very good Italian restaurant I had pasta bolognese which was very good also we had a garlic pizza and beer
Very worthwhile meal and service
We go regularly for a Friday night pizza and salad, which are good. Haven't tried their pastas yet even though they always look good when they are being served to neighbouring tables. Nice that they're licensed too, so we can have a glass at the end of the week.
One of the classic restaurants of Crows Nest. Family owned, and you’re made to feel like family here. The food is unpretentious but high quality and they are BYO. Recommend the outdoor tables. You’ll need to book, because the secret is well and truly out.
Unfortunately me and my partner didn't enjoy our experience here. There's a number of areas for improvement the restaurant should to focus on, especially on hot days at peak time. SERVICE: The service was slow, maybe the staff were overworked - every time we tried to get their attention they were too busy and wouldn't look around. As we were against the wall, waiters didn't pay us much attention, however tables that were next to the pathway seemed to get more attention. ENVIRONMENT: Sitting in the back room, it was hot and stuffy. The air con either wasn't on or wasn't doing much. So if you come here on a hot day, I'd suggest sitting outside. ATMOSPHERE: There was no atmosphere due to no music, so you only had the sound of other people's conversations. It was also very busy and tightly compacted. FOOD/DRINK: While the food came in a timely manner, it was less than average and we felt it was quite bland. We had spaghetti bolognaise (usually my favourite) and carbanara. The wine however was good.
Excellent service
I was so disappointed tonight about the service at this place and I’ve been reading a few of the reviews and the only question I have is how can the owners let staff like Ranjith work at this place? The food was good, however we did not enjoy our night because of the attitude of this individual towards our group, he gave us a hard time and there was an italian waitress that wasn’t friendly at all. Wouldn’t come back to this place even for a free meal.
Classic Italian restaurant with good size portions and above average food. Bit high priced but good for a nice dinner
Family friendly
the food was good. but 1 staff thrown our bill and said a rude words. His name Ranjith. we knew you work and tired. but if you cant service the guest, just take a leave and go home. open to clarify :)
Coming from Singapore, my colleagues and I visited Peter Pan's for the first time but the night ended with a bad taste in our mouths when served by a waiter, Ranjith, with deplorable manners. We requested multiple receipts for the purpose of claims and he came back to us saying, "thanks for wasting paper". Completely rude and lacking in service. I've never experienced worse service in Sydney. Needless to say, we'll never return and I beg you to refrain from visiting if you want a good night out.
A worthy place to eat. I had a Beef kidney dish which was superb. The pizzas are excellent . Very large on the inside of this restaurant which is suitable for groups . Outside footpath dining is popular with the locals . The head waiter is fast and efficient.
Came her with a group of 9 as we were recommended by a local friend here in Sydney. While the food was genuine, Italian and fair valued their service from Ranjith (manager at this premise) turn this place into a Neverland to visit to me or any of the overseas friend that comes to North Sydney every 2 months. We asked to split bills among 8 of us and this was abruptly declined by Ranjith quoting we never do split bills despite our friend had her Birthday there a while ago where splitting bills was not a problem. We had to scramble our money and paid in cash when we asked them if they could provide us with 8 receipts. He complied and gave us the receipts with the words: “Thanks for wasting so much paper”, left the receipts and walked away. If you’re looking for a better place that serves great Italian food with superb service in this vicinity, go Piato. For Peter Pan is a Neverland for any of us, our overseas guest and local friends.
Great fiid
We ordered the Penne Arrabiata and Pizza Calabrese. The pasta wasn't anything special, but the pizza was tasty. Service could be a little more attentive but overall it's a nice option for a casual dinner.
Very good quality food!!
